In September 1949, during the foundation of the Federal Republic of Germany, our company was founded by the brothers Hans and Rolf Meckenstock.
It all began in an old stable with a used lathe in Velbert. Little by little new machines were added and the stable was exchanged for a small 200 m² hall. In 1955 flame hardening was introduced, which was then replaced by induction hardening in 1964.
After numerous expansions in the individual departments, we found our current location in Wülfrath in North Rhine-Westphalia in 1990. In the meantime, the production area has been extended from 200 sqm to 4500 sqm.
We currently have 40 employees, including 4 trainees.
In our hardening shop we now have, among other things, 12 induction hardening machines (some of which are CNC-controlled) which cover almost all frequency ranges. An inductor production facility, a spectral analysis device for materials testing and a stationary testing machine for magnetic particle crack testing up to 4 meters in length complete our range of services.
